The apartment itself is deceptively spacious and was perfectly big enough for our family of four. All amenities are very well provided for, from a fully kitted out kitchen (incl. washing machine) to super fast Wi-Fi and even a trampoline for the kids to tire themselves out on and a nice decking area to enjoy a glass of wine after a day out. The family on site were superb, very friendly and welcoming and have given a lot of thought to their guests comfort. Our children made fast friends with their children which was an added bonus and extra touches such as biscuits, bread and homemade jam just topped off what was a thoroughly enjoyable week for all of us. The village has a very well stocked shop and the local pub provided decent reasonably priced food and beverages. It’s the perfect location to explore the Yorkshire dales, Bolton Abbey, Skipton Castle, Malham cove, White scar caves, Brimley rocks and Fountains Abbey just a few places within an hours drive or the local train station just a 5min walk away to visit other towns.

This house was amazing for our family trip. The kitchen and living room worked so well for cooking and being together. Everything was to an excellent standard and had everything you needed. The location was amazing, quiet and a sort walk to a lovely pub. Great days out in the area with plenty to do and see. The bronte waterfall was fab.

The house is very well-equipped and beautifully presented. It was perfect for a weekend away with friends. We particularly enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and exploring the local area. The host was very helpful and made everything very easy for us.

Moldy Warp Barn is amazing - the photos do NOT do the accommodation justice. It not only is comfortable, it is slightly quirky and very homely. You walk in to a spacious dining area which also has comfortable seating with a kitchen nook attached. All mod cons are in the kitchen area and it is well equiped with crockery, pans, utensils etc - we were not left wanting for anything. Also downstairs is a bathroom, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom - all lovely and clean. The original flagstone floors just add to the beautiful authenticity of the barn. Upstairs is an amazing space. At one end is a lovely kingsize bed with a canopy and privacy curtain, which was so inviting that we just had to use it! At the other end of the room is a lounge area with a good size TV, two very comfortable sofas and a leather arm chair - a great space to chill out in. And there's more....there is also a mezannine floor above this which can be used as a games room! We booked the barn for 4 nights over Christmas and our host Fiona could not have been more welcoming. The barn was trimmed up for Christmas, including a beautiful Christmas tree and some festive treats were left for us. The barn is very dog friendly - we have a very fluffy dog and Fiona leaves many throws to cover furniture, which made us feel so much more comfortable. There is a bonus of a field opposite that the dog can be left off the lead on. In summary, the barn is a perfect family base, near lots of places of interest and great walks, but what really makes this place special is the attention to detail by the host. Thank you so much, we shall return.
