Our stay at the Sycamore Lodge was a highlight of our trip! John and Kieran were exceptional hosts! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome and a lovely tea with homemade scones and other treats. The house is simply beautiful and we felt immediately at home. Kieran was especially helpful in giving us tips and information about our ancestors who lived in Kilkee. We didn't think things could get any better and then, after a wonderful night's sleep, we woke up to an amazing, breakfast. It was almost too beautiful to eat! We were so sad to leave as we felt we were saying goodbye to family. We will most definitely be back! Thank you John and Kieran!!! Denise, Reto and family

A great place for an overnight stay on a trip up the country. The house was amazing, felt like home from home as soon as we walked in the door – beautifully decorated, really well looked after, and full of high-quality furnishings and equipment. The host was brilliant too, super helpful, informative, and quick to respond. The location was great: close to the beach and local town, but far enough out to be peaceful and quiet. Would 100% stay again!

We loved our stay the pictures don't do this little gym full justice. The host was so welcoming and helpful. The beach was so near as the village. We stayed with our young baby and she loved as much as we did.
