Amazing property, staff (and service) and food. Reminded me of the days when my parents would bring me to the Taj Garden Retreat when I was studying in a boarding school in Ooty. Love the fact that Gateway has maintained the charm of the property whilst also refurbishing and updating the rooms. I will be coming back with my wife and child !

The location is amazing and the staff were friendly. Shiva the manager took care of all the things . Kavita and Selva was amazing too. Kavita’s cooking was amazing especially the breakfast. If you are staying here please try idli, Dosa and sambar for breakfast.

The place is situated in the middle of a tea garden valley , from the breakfast restaurant one has a view of pure green unpolluted gardens to as far as one can see. Rooms are big and very well maintained and the balcony view of the valley was spectacular. The staff was outstanding, very pleasant. They even helped us pack a big frame that we had to carry back in bubble wrap and then cardboard, they went way beyond their duties.
