We had the most wonderful stay at BirdScapes Homestay. We were warmly welcomed by Abin and his family, who cooked great meals for us and took us on boat trips. The room is very confortable and has a nice view on the backwaters. We are grateful to have had the chance to stay here for two nights and strongly recommend!

You need some form of transportation to get around. Other than that the owners are super friendly, you can order food. The garden is super nice and the whole backwaters area is really pretty. I recommend checking out the bird sanctuary very early in the morning. He also offer to use the boat for 1000rupees/hr

Wonderful stay with an amazing view and a fantastic host! We had a truly lovely stay at this property. The owner was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and extremely helpful throughout our visit. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, which made a big difference to our overall experience. Frances and Jeeja and their lovely home are what made this stay so enjoyable. The house is spotless and modern. The breakfasts are amazing. I stayed a week just to have some relaxing time. Its quiet this far out of town but there are places to eat along the beach. My personal favourite was Catamaran, recommended by Frances. Great to see village life, watch the fishermen mending their nets, and the women praying each evening at the small shrine, for the safety of the men out at sea. Do the backwater tour by paddle boat, a great day out.

One of my best accommodation in india. Very clean, big room, clean bathroom, a small kitchen with a sitting area and the location was perfect. Mohammed it's an amazing host, very friendly and he help me all the time with information and he also helped me to get a boating tour.
