The apartment was in a quiet area but only a 5 minute walk to the historical centre. It was superbly equipped, had two balconies and the continental breakfast was abundant and delicious, there is even an espresso machine. The hosts Angela e Silvio couldn’t have been more helpful, just great. Their communication was easy to follow and any questions we had were answered promptly. Lovely homely hotel, very clean, comfortable, quiet, homely atmosphere. Great varied breakfast, the best cappuccino, delicious homemade pies, and much more. Thanks a lot! A little about our trip and Ortona :) We spent here less than 24 hours, no transport, only walking, slept only one night, but it was a very interesting trip. Ortona has two different good beaches: the pebble beach "Spiaggia della Ritorna" to the north of the port with azure water (if the sea is calm enough). 500 meters north of it in the morning we even saw a flock of dolphins. And the sandy beach of Spiaggia Lido south of the port. The walking and cycling path stretches along the city to the south for more than 20 kilometers along the picturesque coast. In the evening we only managed to walk along it about 7 kilometers from Spiaggia Lido to San Vito Lanciano and from there we returned to Ortona by train in 5 minutes.

Amazing people live here. Our stay exceeded my expectations. All was perfect from small things as free umbrelas (both for rain and also beach), information about buses/trains to breakfasts with vegan croissant for my allergic son. Beach is 5-minute walk from the home. Thank you very much once more!

Wonderful space with plenty of room for a family of 4. The two bedrooms were upstairs and there was a spacious living room and kitchen on the main floor so once the kids were in bed we could relax. There was also a wonderful private outside sitting area in the back and more public sitting area in the front. The kitchen was very well equiped as well. For us the location was perfect it was peaceful and quite and town was only a 10 minute drive away.

The property was amazing, fantastic location, wonderful host we really couldn’t have asked for more, a super introduction to that area of Italy. Very spacious, well equipped, comfy beds. Nice to have a shower room and a bathroom. The apartment is right in the heart of the old town yet very quiet and has a large private terrace. It’s on the 3rd floor but there is a lift. It’s a very safe area and everyone we met was extremely friendly and helpful. Hiring bikes and spending the day on the green way was a real highlight.

It's located very close to the castle ruins, and to the city center. Parking turned out easy in front of the building. Room was spacious enough.
