Tiger Wildlife Resort was my home for two weeks. Besides the beauty of the place, perfect for those who seek quiet surroundings, what was truly remarkable is the care I received as a guest here. I felt like a VIP, a princess even, as the owners, Gambir, and the rest of the team, went out of their way to make my stay absolutely perfect. I was given what I believe is the best room on the property, with a balcony facing the park, from which every morning I would see all sorts of animals: deers, rhinos, boars and countless birds (among which peacocks and black storks and openbills) The food here is absolutely excellent, always freshly made and very tasty. The chef is so sweet, always doing his best to satisfy my (many!) requests. The safaris and tours were also lovely experiences, as the parks in the area have lots to offer. I recommend taking the time to visit Tikauli and the 20k lake. I also enjoyed walking around the rural village and talking to a few locals who seem to adore foreigners. In general, I would imagine staying here about 5 days is enough to tick all the touristy stuff of the list... unless - like me - you're not in a rush about seeing this and that, maybe you work online and enjoy taking some time away from more mundane life.. then stay as long as your heart feels and discover how wholesome it is to become a Tiger Wildlife family member ! We spent three nights at the Chital Lodge and we just loved it. When we arrived, we were very warmely welcomed by Bishnu. We got delicious lunch (we had all meals at the lodge breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything was delicious) and went on a Jeep safari right away. It was amazing, the nature, the animals the sunset, it was a beautiful afternoon. The next day we went on a boat safari and walked through the National Park for the rest of the day. Bishnu is very experienced and therefore we felt very save and we saw a lot of animals and birds. It was an amazing experience. The last day we strolled through the village and had another Jeep safari after lunch. Throughout these days we saw many rhinos and baby rhinos. We saw monkeys and beautiful birds, deers, crocodiles and even a wild boar. We were looking for an experience away of the big tourist lodges/safaris and found a jewel. The accommodation is very basic, but we spent most of the time on safari or in the dining area anyway, where everyone meets. Thank you Bishnu and your family for this unforgettable experience.

Family house is really friendly and has good food! Amazing experience! Hari offer pack food and night together it's nice you should text him before book! There are safari and yoga with him ! I did both it was incredible experience! Definitely recommend it

Charming family, made me feel at home. They took care of me as if I were a family member, served delicious homemad meals and made me long to return to this amazing place. Manoj is a great and passionate guide, did his best to show me all the beauty of Chitwan. It was very hard for me to leave his homestay, I will definitely come back again.

The place is gorgeous, rooms are very nice and clean and the garden is beautiful, a really good place to chill or work. The staff were super friendly, they told me all the work that they are doing to foster the local community. They have built a school for local kids and they are empowering Tharu comunity ladies by working at the retreat and showing the local culture and cuisine at the retreat. They also have several initiatives related to jungle and river upkeep and recovery. Great work!!!

Staying with Deepak and Sita and the staff really was amazing. This was a super successful hostel/hotel in Kathmandu which has relocated to a hidden gem of a town in the center of Nepal. The area will definitely give you a real experience of Nepalese life outside of the big city! Sita is an *amazing* chef and the food at the restaurant is very well priced!
