The whole experience was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful, both on the phone and in person. I arrived outside of check-in hours, and it the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The hotel was comfortable and neat and tidy in scenic surroundings. There was always parking available somewhere close by. Even though there was a party in the restaurant, the hotel lays a bit further away from it, so I couldn't hear anything and had a really peaceful night. The hotel also has a common room, a sauna and a kitchen with a fridge, so it was easy to get my morning coffee and some me-time and take a morning walk on the huge ground, before going for breakfast. I could also store some snacks and drinks in the fridge, which made my life really easy, being so far away from shops. The breakfast was tasty, had a huge selection with lots of fresh ingredients and lots of options. The summer weekend dinner was delicious, too. The whole place is very cozy, calm, and recharging. I wish I spent the whole week here <3

I came here by bike. The host was so flexible and helpful as well as others. The location is calm and beautiful and my room (small single bedroom) has a lake view. It is simple and village style exactly what you should expect, and it is clean and tidy! The main building is few hundred years old and if you meet Anders he may give you a good history about it! The romm in which the breakfast was served was also very nice and old school! The wooden sauna experience next to lake was unforgettable! I will come here again!

The owners have renovated/ new build everything very carefully and with a lot of love. Exactly like the pictures, but even bigger, because the rooms are also high. It was the night, that I have slept best of my whole journey in Sweden (1 month) . The cleaning was also for Swiss ideas really good, that means perfect. I believe, sometimes the owners use the kitchen... also for them selves; however the kitchen, plates, glasses etc. are really clean and the kitchen is very big. There is also a second hand shop upstairs. For me that was the very best thing, because my shoes had been completely wet and I could buy very good and inexpensive used ones.
