Brand new and extremely clean. Good location but to be honest Koh lanta is so quiet anyway so you do boat trips out of it. Beach is within walking distance. Great value for money. Working little kitchenette. Off the beaten path not on main road and behind a tattoo salon. Not the best views from window but it’s good for what you pay for. Locking the main door proved a little tricky at times.

Lovely location, the host Roy was amazing, really happy to help and show off his area. Ko lanta is an unspoiled area of Thailand. The accommodation is peaceful, different (in a good way), comfortable and clean. Having breakfast while the monkeys are roaming around was a big highlight. We ate breakfast and evening dinner at Roy’s onsite restaurant (his wife is the chef) and have to say the food was great. My children loved the pineapple pancakes for breakfast. My favourite was the penang curry. We’ll always have fond memories of our time staying here. And I’m sure it’ll be an experience my children will always remember. Thank you Roy.

Strongly recommended.Great host family! our flight delayed till 10pm. The host family helped us arrange a pickup service, which helped us caught on the last ferry to koh lanta and welcomed our checkin at midnight. Guest house is more than expected. Spacious, beautiful, clean and very comfortable. We are so glad to have chosen this guest house. Kitchen with variety of cookware and seasonings. We enjoyed cooking using ingredients from local market nearby. Shower stream is good, water pressure is not weak at all. 10 mins walking to the beautiful beach. Totally relaxed in Sam's House.

Special little gem. If you're looking for something different, this is it. I was lucky to have a beautiful beach completely to myself. So if you need to take a breather, I would absolutely recommend. And the coffee from the place near by is amazing! Also the feast in the evening prepared by malee? Priceless! (And actually included in the price)

Super helpful and friendly staff. The bungalow was very clean and tidy, well sealed from the outside and equipped with everything we needed. The swimming pool was clean and there was different seats around to chill. Really nice experience and close to some great beaches.

Our room was spotless and one of the most modern we have had on our travels in Thailand. Room has air con, a fan, hairdryer, extension lead, laundry bag - everything we needed. Hotel does laundry at a reasonable price. The hotel was all out of mopeds when we tried to rent, but the staff gave us recommendations on where to go instead. Room is serviced every two days but are happy to provide anything you need at any time. Location is great, only a 2 minute walk to the beach where there is many restaurants and bars.
