The place itself is extremely clean and well thought out, the nice touch even though we didn’t bring our pets, was 8th hill’s preparedness to host them, which made my critter loving heart very happy. It’s on a smaller side for a group and the pull out couch mattress is a bit thin, but overall our stay was extremely pleasant and comfortable. The reception area is very clean and tasteful and the check in is facilitated via a code for the door, so no worries about losing the key while exploring the beautiful city!

It has a piano bar with karaoke and its own winery. My favorite place in Bulgaria, the staff is exceptionally friendly, the wine is amazing and the food is delicious. The facilities are well kept, the property is tastefully decorated in a traditional Bulgarian style with modern amenities. The spa treatments were excellent. My happy place in Bulgaria!

Situated at the heart of Plovdiv, on the side of river Maritsa, Grand Hotel Plovdiv looks out towards Plovdiv Old Town and the picturesque Rhodope Mountains. The International Fair is a 5-minute walk away, while Plovdiv's Old Town is a 15-minute walk away. Everything was great! Breakfast also was good one, but no seafood was there.
