Idyllic is the word to use for Casa Arariba. It's set back a little further than the beach pousadas and it feels like it's right in the forest. That alone without mentioning the brazilian wildlife, super friendly cats, chickens popping in to say hi, dogs wandering past makes the place feel super close to nature. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, nice and cool, has a great shower and a super comfy bed..The owners also are really nice and you can see how much they care about their place and the nature around it.

One is "Casa da Praia" a charming main house with three rooms on the edge of the sea and another "Casa da Floresta" with six private rooms with forest view. Located on Praia Pequena da Freguesia de Santana beach, this guest house is surrounded by rich Atlantic Forest. It offers a rustic-style restaurant and bar, outdoor pool and hot tub. The bar and restaurant are right on top of the ocean and serve lunch and dinner, as well as drinks. The place is beautiful and peaceful, with amazing views. It has a small beach, some kayaks to explore the amazing surroundings. The staff is super friendly. All in all, we want to go back in the future.

We were met with such warm hospitality from the moment we arrived off the boat. Lucas made our stay very comfortable, with his friendliness and excellent English! We liked the accommodation itself: the hot water was perfect and the air-con worked really well for the very hot day we arrived. Breakfast was also a plus for us with breads, eggs, ham, cheese, fresh fruit and yogurt! We enjoyed interacting with the friendly cats roaming the property - they have very gentle temperaments. There is an easy path into the main town with a some excellent restaurants! The village is small, but very peaceful and perfect for escaping the busyness of Abraão! Do not hesitate to stay here, it will feel like you have a new family in a tropical paradise!
