She helped us to make reservations for many attractions. Also she always been in touch with us, provided information about interesting spots, food places, tickets etc. Big bonus - Kate can speak English very well. Kate’s mom had cooked breakfast and lunch for us and it was really amazing, I literally felt in love with simple homemade Chinese food thanks to her 😍 Location is very good. Very quiet at night. And the same time just few steps away from ferry, then a couple of minutes by boat and you are in the middle of hustle and bustle West Street. Guest house itself is very nice, reception is interesting decorated. Washing machine and free detergent are available on the roof top. Free water bottles at the reception. Rooms and bathrooms are big. We had balcony room and the river view was great. So, I definitely can recommend to book this place. You will never regret for sure. Thank you again Kate! The staff were extremely kind and generous, always making us feel welcome. The location itself is stunning and made our stay even more memorable. One thing to note: they also offer tours, which we unfortunately didn’t know about in advance as we had already booked with another company. Overall, a great stay and highly recommended!

A little out of town so will need a taxi back and forth but it was okay. The surroundings are beautiful.

Just 5 km from Yangshuo, The Giggling Tree is an unique guest house which is located in the tiny village of Little Mountain Gate. It features traditional farmhouses, a beautiful courtyard and an outdoor swimming pool. Free WiFi access is available. We loved the hotel from the second we stepped onto the proprety. The front yard was cosy and was a lovely place to have breakfast or dinner. Our daughter could roam around without any danger. The food was amazing and the whole staff was super friendly. English was spoken as well. During our whole trip in China this was our favorite place and we felt sad leaving it. The rooms have a vintage feel and look, the bathroom was modern. The location, the view from the pool, the staff, the food was extraordinary.
