Reception was extremely attentive and answered every question we had in a timely and professional manner. People sometimes forget that the front desk isn’t their personal concierge, yet the staff still went above and beyond for us. Their patience and responsiveness made a huge difference in the quality of our stay. The restaurant exceeded our expectations — the food was truly top-notch. Fresh, flavorful, and easily some of the best meals we had during our time in Colombia. We also loved the presence of the rescued pups roaming the property. They added a warm, authentic charm to the environment and made the place feel even more welcoming.

The accommodations were top-notch: clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully furnished to provide a perfect home-away-from-home. I especially appreciated the peaceful ambiance and the touches that reflected the local Wayuu heritage. The neighborhood was a true highlight—quiet yet close to everything. Just a short walk from the malecón, I could enjoy sunsets over the sea, delicious street food, and vibrant local markets. It felt authentic, welcoming, and safe, with friendly locals and a laid-back vibe that made me want to stay longer. This was the ideal base for exploring La Guajira—from Cabo de la Vela to the salt flats of Manaure. Whether you're here to relax or to adventure, this spot is a perfect launchpad. I’ll definitely be back!

Thanks Erickson, Nubia & team! The food was fantastic and served by the sea. The location - the beach is pristine and quiet. The room was pretty and very comfortable - AC, dessert decor, love the hammock out front. It is a very tranquil place.

Its location is perfect—close enough to Palomino to go for dinner or shopping by tuk-tuk, yet far enough to enjoy peaceful nights surrounded by nature. The staff was impeccable, always attentive to every need. We stayed for five days and had absolutely no complaints. Their kindness and dedication made all the difference. The hotel’s private beach is a true sanctuary—no vendors, no noise, just the sound of the waves and pure tranquility. Every morning and evening, we took long walks to witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets in this little paradise. And the food—absolutely delicious! The women in the kitchen are incredibly creative, making every meal feel like a home-cooked experience filled with love and warmth. My favorites: Ceviche de pescado and The Pargo Platero whit patacón and coconut rice. I left this place with a deep sense of nostalgia, knowing I will return. The level of well-being you experience here is truly unique. Thank you to everyone who made this stay unforgettable!

This hostel is one of the best hostels we have been on our travels! The atmosphere is so relaxed and you can have a great time there. We loved the activities like movie night or mangrove tour, parties or pizza night. The location is perfect with the river and the sea very close by. The room and facilities were cleaned every day and the chill space was really chill 😃 Every day there is food at fixed time frames and it makes people come together and it’s easy to make connections. The staff and volunteers are super nice and it was a pleasure to hang out with everyone. It makes sense that people stay here for more than a few days.
