Perfect place to chill out for 8 nights after the crazy city of Bogata. The staff and owners treated me like family. Good food, nice pool and hot tube(cold tub)! Up at 1000 feet in elevation it never felt to hot. The monkeys, birds and frog sounds were amazing. They hired a guide for me to go hiking in the Tayrona national park ,which was beautiful, with a much needed swim once we got to a safe beach. Highly recommend Tawaca if you just want to relax and take in the peace of the mountains.

Finca La Selvita is a piece of heaven. It’s super isolated in the forest, yet you can still enjoy stunning views of the Caribbean Sea. The place is very clean and the beds are comfortable. The food is vegetarian but really tasty — they use plants and flowers that grow in the finca, which I loved. It’s the perfect place to rest with the sounds of the jungle and to learn about chocolate. You can experience the entire process — from cacao harvesting to making a chocolate bar.I recommend staying at least two nights to fully enjoy the forest and the atmosphere.

Serrano Tayrona Lodge ligger i El Zaino og har udsigt til haven, restaurant, døgnåben reception, bar, have og terrasse. Teltlejren har både wi-fi og gratis privat parkering. Serrano Lodge is a quiet place in the mountains. A bit tough to walk there with the too heavy backpacks but you get immediately rewarded when you arrive. ( you can also get a mototaxi) Paulo and Brunela are the sweetest people, welcomed us and looked after us very well. The dogs and cat were cute. ( Mateo ☺️) The caban is very confortable and the terrasse is massive. The breakfast is good and we had dinner there on the 2 nights we stayed. The walk to Tayrona is about 45 minutes, down to the river and along the main road, or you can take the bus. Thank you, we recommend 🙏

We could leave our luggage when we were in the national park. We were helped by arranging lunch for during hike. Really great!

We stayed at Cayena by Masaya after visiting Tayrona Park, and it was exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. The staff were all incredibly friendly and professional, from the reception to the restaurant team. The hotel has only a few rooms, which made it feel peaceful and never crowded—we always found a great spot to lounge by the beautiful, large pool (perfect for a proper swim). There’s also a covered area with yoga equipment, and we loved starting the day with a beach-front workout. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a super comfy bed, working AC, hot water, and complimentary refillable drinking water. The restaurant was a highlight—breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious, and the à la carte prices were very reasonable, so we were happy to eat at the hotel. There are beds on the beach, but we mostly stayed by the pool since the ocean had big waves and a small sandy area during our visit (great for surfers, though). Overall, we had a perfect stay and would absolutely recommend Cayena for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, relaxing setting.
