Macaws in the almond tree, parrots arriving and departing (always with a great party :)), a wonderful garden, 2 really cute cats. We really loved it there. Beach, Supermarket and restaurant are walking distance. A perfect place to start a Corcovado tour as well. Lubna was on holiday when we arrived, but she managed everything from the distance. We had the place for us own, its a shared kitchen and bathroom. Be sure you have money with you, it was not possible to pay the room with credit card.

The host's good intentions, attention to detail, plus efforts to accommodate and comfort guests were exceptional, i.e. providing maps, bikes and detailed instructions for getting around and shopping. Also, Osa is near a beautiful beach, a walk or bike ride away where visitors can swim and relax. A pleasant restaurant with good prices is nearby the beach. A chocolate factory is also a bike ride away. The host led us to a unique treehouse in a jungle setting rife with birds and monkeys. Internet access, too.

Encanta La Vida bevindt zich in Cabo Matapalo, op een paar minuten lopen van Playa Pan Dulce, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een restaurant. Breakfast was amazing and wildlife was everything!

La Casita bevindt zich in Dos Brazos en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de tuin. Er is ook een koelkast, een oven, magnetron en een koffiezetapparaat in de keuken. Fantastische plek midden in de jungle en eigenlijk al half in Nationale park van Corcovado. Vriendelijke mensen (Italiaans) die ook redelijk Engels en Spaans spreken. Lekker ontbijt met veel fruit. Mooie vogels te zien in de tuin. Parkeren op eigen terrein. Ruime kamer, nette douche ruimte. Bij aankomst werd een lekkere spaghetti bolognese aangeboden. Ook mogelijkheid om de was te laten doen. Wifi was goed. Goede contacten met lokale bevolking en dus ook een bijzondere wandeling gemaakt door het park.

Natural Harmony Cabin is gelegen in Puerto Jiménez en biedt gratis WiFi en uitzicht op de tuin. Dit appartement heeft een tuin en gratis privéparkeren. I Think i dont have so much place to write all. Thats place is Magic. People having that place are amezing with so love for everybody and nature. House have everything u need if not just ask host. Nature , Animals , peace. ❤️

Ríos de agua Viva ligt in Puerto Jiménez, en is voorzien van een tuin en terras. Bepaalde kamers bij de accommodatie hebben een patio met uitzicht op de bergen. My girlfriend and me had three wonderful days here. This cute little hut is located right in the cozy village of Doz Brazos. Nature is all around around you: If you like that (and don’t mind seeing one or the other bug), you’ll love this place. Animals we saw and heard were chickens, cows, lots of cute dogs and even a Tucan in the distance! And regularly, some hummingbirds visited us while we had breakfast on the terrace. The house itself has a kitchen and a semi-open structure. The walls for example don’t go all the way up, which probably helped the airflow & was the reason why we could sleep without a fan. There were fans in our bedroom & the main room. Our bedroom was lockable from the inside, the other bedroom had a curtain instead of a door, but that would’ve been fine for us as well. Honestly speaking, we were a bit skeptical upon our arrival. But this skepticism quickly went away due to these factors: First of all, because of our hosts. The family lives right next to the hut and was super welcoming, nice and helpful. During our first breakfast, they even brought us a nice welcoming snack! With all the kindness, they still left us plenty of privacy. Another reason were our temporary “flatmates“, another couple that came for a day and moved into the room with the curtain. They were very kind as well & we had some nice conversations on the terrace. Last but definitely not least is the initial reason why we booked this place: Access to the Bolita rainforest trails. Since the owners work at the Bolita rainforest hostel, free access (without any guides) to these beautiful hiking trails through the jungle was granted. Though I imagine, we would’ve seen more animals if we had an Costa Rican with eagle eyes with us! Luckily, Carlos, one of the owners, offers guidance (only Spanish though). Very soon, we felt very comfortable and happy to be in such a remote, authentic & beautiful place (just check out the garden photos!) with so many nice people.
