The staff is extremely friendly, breakfast was excellent, the property is conveniently located close to hiking trails and the village has a very relaxed feel. We will be back for longer. Set within Berchtesgaden National Park, at the foot of Watzmann Mountain, Berghotel Rehlegg offers traditional Bavarian accommodation. It really is the most beautiful hotel in a stunning location. All of the faciliites were lovely in particular the outside swimming pool and I very much appreciated the indoor pool being open 24 hours. Potentially the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and I felt incredibly rested after my stay. Some really thoughtful small touches such as wine/champagne at reception for guests and coffee in the morning to take with you as you start your day. I also loved the gift of a loaf of sourdough at the end of my trip - a very nice touch. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Can't fault anything about my trip at all.

The 4-star superior hotel has been family-run since 1634 and offers an indoor swimming pool, various saunas, steam baths, a children's playground and a cosy lounge. The staff members were incredibly kind, and the restaurant served high-quality meals for all their menu items. The SPA experience was truly amazing, and the kids enjoyed every second of it.
