Everything you need while walking the Camino; modern room with outlets near the bed, nice bathroom with hooks for the towels, great shower, heat works great, cafe on site, opens at 7 am, grocery store on site, with plenty of options, and if you don’t feel like going to the nearby restaurant to eat, there is a microwave, and the cafe will give you places and silverware. Friendly staff, highly recommended.

Dette hotel er fra 1500-tallet og var i sin tid feriebolig for en adelig familie. Bygningen er blevet omhyggeligt restaureret og er nu et unikt og elegant 5-stjernet hotel. Although I wasn’t travelling with my dogs I was delighted to find out this is a dog friendly hotel, it even had a dog friendly restaurant inside the hotel. The staff there very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent. There is nothing I could fault.

Denne feriebolig ligger i Valle del Ambroz i den nordlige del af provinsen Cáceres. Den har til huse i en majestætisk bygning fra det 17. århundrede, der i sin tid var et kloster. Second visit. Room had been upgraded and we liked the changes. Very comfortable room and dog friendly. Evening meal was set menu and great value for money. Breakfast was good. Staff all very welcoming and friendly. Location is fantastic. Will definitely return in future.

We had a wonderful stay at Encantos del Jerte. The place has it all. It is located in the center of the village next to the church and 1 min away from the river. It is recently renovated and has all the best construction materials and amenities, for example it has radiant floor heating! It is a beautiful sustainable gem in the heart of Navaconcejo. We also made use of the accessibility of the ground level apartment for my great grandma that is in a wheel chair. Felisa, the owner was very attentive before, during and after our stay and very understanding with our little kids’ needs. Navaconcejo is my mom’s hometown and I come back frequently and Encantos de Jerte will be my go to spot from now on!

Apartamentos Rurales la Campiña ligger i Casiñas Bajas og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis wi-fi, swimmingpool, en have, en terrasse og udsigt til en have. The apartment we stayed in was awesome. It is big, with two floors, a fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, a downstairs and upstairs bathroom and a very comfy double bed. The highlight of our stay was a spa bath which worked perfectly, with plenty of hot water thanks to a huge boiler. Everything was clean and worked well. The apartment looks modern and cosy. The aircon worked really well and was quiet. Overall, the flat was gorgeous and we would stay again. The outside area is also nice, with lots of barbecues and seating area. The private car park is big. It is also a very quiet area with nice countryside. Apart from an occasional car passing by, you can only hear the lovely sounds of the countryside: donkeys, chickens, sheep... Plus we were staying off-season and we alone 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed so it was extra quiet. It was a relaxing stay.

La Almazara Del Guijo ligger i Guijo de Santa Bárbara og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis wi-fi og have med en terrasse og bjergudsigt. We felt very welcome and comfy. The breakfast was simple, but fair and if we needed anything else, sweet Paloma could provide. We had a 3 bedroom apartment. The room we choose had rather short beds, but luckily a 3rd room was available with a more suitable bed for my husband. We really enjoyed the village and surroundings. The hike that departs from the village is nice, but rather tough and stoney and only my son made it to the end... Carlos was very kind to show us around downstairs where there was a restaured olive mill and kind of museum.
