A wonderful, old property full of history and antique furniture, but with a lovely, large, modern walk in shower. Peaceful and quiet but within walking distance of the town centre. Complimentary tea, coffee, water, biscuits and wine in the room. I only stayed one night and left straight after breakfast. A delightful breakfast served on a huge wooden dining room table shared with other guests accompanied by entertaining anecdotes from the host. As much as you could possibly want to eat with plenty of choice. I woul advise staying longer. I was told about an excellent free walking tour which I would do next time.

Just 4 miles from Bath, The Wheatsheaf Combe Hay is a West Country inn dating back to the 1500s. Everything about the property was perfect, the room, restaurant and pub.
