I'm generally not a person that stays in small huts like this, but I was positively surprised by this one. It isn't the most spaceous, but it was great for the two days we stayed there, and if you're a more wilderness/camping kind of person, I definitely recommend it. The surroundings were lovely woods with some nice walking paths, that especially at night provided some great opportunities for star watching, and the hut itself has a nice little kitchen with everything you need (except maybe an oven, but if you do it right, you can definitely do without that), and a nice and clean shower, the beds were also very comfortable. Every hut also has a fire place outside, and the owners provide firewood upon request, if there is no fire ban at the moment, which can happen if it becomes too dry. I can definitely recommend this if you are looking fora little bit more adventurous stay!

Ailsa- Enchanting Tiny House with wood burner and hot tub in Cairngorms ligger i Ballater. Her er gratis wi-fi og bjergudsigt. Derudover er der en have og en terrasse. This was just wonderful, I’d have stayed longer had it been available. Such a cutely furnished tiny house. The lovely hosts are always trying to improve these already excellent cabins by adding more thoughtful details. I loved the skylight above the bed. Best light for reading. Drift off to sleep with the stars twinkling above you. Great Deeside walks just outside the front door. Perfect cosy place for two; I’d say fitting four in here might get a little cramped, especially if you’re going to leave 4 people’s luggage lying around randomly. Hot tub a nice feature. One commenter complained about not being able to use it in the rain, which, frankly, is weird. When you’re immersed in hot water, the rain can’t touch you. The hosts were extremely friendly, and, in my case, literally went that extra mile! Big thank you to Karl, Bess, and Stacey!

The Shelter Stone Cottage ligger ca. 46 km fra University of the Highlands and Islands, Inverness. Her er gårdhave, kaffemaskine og udsigt til en have. It was a perfect location and was a great base for the things we wanted to do. With a full kitchen and a washer, it was great for the middle of our three-week trip.

Alba - Charming boutique forest view cabin with hot tub in Ballater ligger i Ballater. Her er gratis wi-fi og udsigt til en have. Derudover er der en have og en terrasse. Cabin was clean and warm. Location was good as many things to do within driving distance. Would definitely recommend it. Perfect if you're looking for somewhere to base yourself. Going up ladder for top bed good for older kids.

Ptarmigan ligger i Nethy Bridge i regionen Højlandet i nærheden af Abernethy Golf Club og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis privat parkering. Everything was perfect, comfy surroundings, very clean and fantastic views!

Aileen - Unique tiny house with wood fired roll top bath in heart of the Cairngorms ligger ca. 44 km fra CairnGorm National Park. Her er balkon, kedel og bjergudsigt. Cosy and as advertised. it was clean and well furnished with everything you could possibly need for a stay. Easy to locate, and a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Great for stargazing and just to disconnect and relax in a quiet place. Everything seems handcrafted which is very twee and nice in this day and age.

The Nook Holiday Cottage har udsigt til en have og ligger i Aviemore, 47 km fra Inverness Castle og 45 km fra University of the Highlands and Islands, Inverness. Comfortable, clean and modern and has everything you might possibly need.

The Osprey Hotel ligger i Kingussie, 13 minutters gang fra Kingussie Golf Club. Dette overnatningssted med 3 stjerner har en terrasse. Cosy, exceptionally friendly little hotel/B&B. The room was very comfortable and quiet. It was very easy to stay here with a four-year old and ten-month old.

Cranford Guest House har udsigt til en have, gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering og ligger i Braemar, 20 km fra Balmoral Castle. Wonderful hosts! Comfy room, fabulous!
