Sunrise Studio ligt in Colchester, op 36 km van Hedingham Castle, 46 km van Treinstation Chelmsford, en 12 km van Flatford. Very nice and clean, I liked the fact that it was a key safe, so could come and go as we pleased. Slightly difficult to find, but rang the owner and he picked up straight away, and directed us. The place was lovely and clean, and there was plenty of choice for continental breakfast. There was lots of info about the local area too.

Beach Front House, een accommodatie met een tuin, ligt in Walton-on-the-Naze, op 3 minuten lopen van Walton-on-the-Naze Beach, 23 km van Alresford, en 29 km van Flatford. Everything was perfect. The main bed was huge and so comfortable. Everywhere was super clean. The towels were nice and big and soft. I could have pretended to be goldilocks and slept in all 3 beds but the main one was too comfortable to do that! I had to book this place last minute after another place wasn't clean, and it was so nice to stay here where it was the total opposite and everything was super clean! Plus the heating worked! It didn't work in the place I had to check out of not long after checking in, so I was super happy to find this place and check in here instead. The location is super close to the beach too. There's a statue of some dude and he helped me remember where I was staying.

The Mistley Thorn is gelegen in Mistley, op 43 km van Hedingham Castle, en biedt accommodatie met een restaurant, gratis privéparkeren en een bar. The room was beautiful. The food and drink was exceptional. The location was lovely and refreshing. Lot's of lovely walks by the Estuary and in the country and plenty of bar and café options nearby. A brilliant place. 10/10

( sky tv complimentary water etc) staff so lovely & helpful There is a courtesy car which can take you to and from the other restaurants ie Milsoms & Talbooth … If you don’t want the continental breakfast which is offered here you can go to Milsoms for a cooked full English which is excellent. ( lots if choice on Milsoms menu) we love the spa here which is amazing

Secluded Island Retreat - in the heart of the Anchorage bevindt zich in West Mersea, op 44 km van Hedingham Castle, 45 km van Treinstation Chelmsford en 16 km van Colchester Zoo, en biedt accommodatie... Absolutely love this little gem. Cannot recommend it highly enough, we'll definitely be back. Stunningly decorated, so cosy and everything you could want in the kitchen. Board games to play and beautifully situated!

Greyfriars ligt in Clacton-on-Sea, op 4 minuten lopen van Clackton Beach, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de tuin. Flat was gorgeous, bright and airy. Beds were super comfortable and we slept like logs with the windows wide opn. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Less than five minutes walk to the pier and gorgeous sandy beach and we loved the reserved parking place on site too.
