Chapter Cottage, Cheddleton Nr Alton Towers, Peak District, Foxtail Barns, the Ashes is gelegen in Cheddleton, op 17 km van Alton Towers, 20 km van Trentham Gardens, en 25 km van Buxton Opera House. Lovely little character cottage in a quiet village location. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. The bathroom is downstairs and the bedrooms upstairs up steep, narrow stairs no it might not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The washing machine was very useful and the croissants and breakfast items provided were a lovely addition. The host Christine was very kind and helpful in answering my questions and making sure we had a convenient parking space on the street outside. It was convenient for attending a wedding at Foxtail Barns and we had a lovely stay.

Very cosy and clean accomodation conveniently located. The communication with host was easy and they were very helpful. A great gesture leaving coffee, tea and sugar for us to use from day 1, and some bombons too! We all enjoyed our stay very much, thanks for all.

Easy to find, great secure parking, minutes away from town centre on foot. Clean, warm, comfortable and quiet. Well equipped and beautifully dressed. Love the underfloor heating in the bathroom. The bed is comfortable, the little kitchen has all the crockery and pans you need for a holiday and the two-ring electric hob warms up quickly. And it has underfloor heating, which was a joy to come 'home' to after a day out in January! The location is fantastic, with really stunning views. It snowed almost every day we were there, which was beautiful to wake up to. The roads are gritted, so we didn't even have too much trouble getting around despite the snow and ice, although there was one evening when we parked over the road instead of on site, because our Aygo with summer tyres couldn't get up the frozen cobbled drive. There are two pubs and a children's playground very close to the flat, and it's a great area for walks. You're also only 15 minutes or so from Cheadle in one direction and it's just a bit longer to get to the city. We had a wonderful stay.
