They even helped us with calling and getting to the local pharmacy to get some medicines for sickness (one of us got ill and they called the pharmacy that was closed due to the Sunday Service and they opened up the pharmacy for us). The food and drinks of their own restaurant were amazing and very tasty & variable; good price value as well! The location of Romlan is also good: the boat drops you off at their pier and all the things in Tuk Tuk are on walking distance. The views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing. If you want to hire a scooter bike you can without signing for anything and you don't have to fuel up the tank (when you get the bike, the tank is full). A free refill water station is available and also some tips & tricks about the surroundings of Romlan and the transport options from Lake Toba to other places like Berastagi or Medan. Definitely recommended to book your stay at Romlan when you are looking for a place to stay in Tuk Tuk.

Mama Evi and Hisar are incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and warm hosts. The accommodation is spotless, very comfortable, and perfectly located right on the lake. The convenience of ferry pick-up and drop-off from the doorstep is a wonderful bonus. The food at Hisar’s is absolutely delicious, especially banana pancakes ;). Highly recommended for an unforgettable and relaxing stay!
