The owner, Mario, was very responsive and helpful. The rooms and common areas were clean and tidy, reflecting the homestay's commitment to providing a comfortable environment for guests. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Raja Ampat with top-notch hospitality! We are coming back for sure.

Arriving here feels like paradise, the water from the rack is so clear you can see the reef & fish even from here. The owner & the stuff made me feel very welcomed and they help you organising dive or snorkel trips for the next day. I went diving on one day which was really nice. You can also rent a snorkel and explore the house reef, which is already very beautiful. I really loved the bungalow and hammock. Food was also delicious. Highly recommend staying here :) Thanks so much for everything!

You know how people only ever write a review when an experience was either truly bad or exceptionally good. Well, this review will be an exceptionally good one. It was our first time in Raja Ampat, let alone Indonesia. Eddo Homestay was our first accommodation and we had low expectations from what we generally read about accommodations in Raja Ampat and because it was a newly built place with few reviews. However, our expectations were exceeded. The first thing I wanna highlight is the hospitality, kindness and service of all the staff there. I especially want to mention Acho, the guy who manages the Homestay and took care of anything we needed. The first two days we were the only two guests at the Homestay and had the best experiences. Acho personally went snorkeling with us at Yenbuba Jetty, took us to a Sandbank, to Sauwandarek Village and Arborek. He was pretty much our personal guide and we enjoyed every single minute of it. He went above and beyond to fulfill all our "wishes" / requests, no matter what it was about (excursions, food, more data for our sim card, etc.). He would also always sit with us for every meal, talk to us, share about life in Indonesia. It was like hanging out with your older brother. They also tried their best to offer a variety of different foods each day. For breakfast we had toast, fried eggs, pancakes, Nutella, jam, cheese and one day (upon our request) even Avocado. For lunch and dinner it's mostly rice but always with either fish, meat, vegetables, salad, etc. And always delicious. Our highlight were the chocolate chip cornflakes with cold fresh milk though. The cabins were very spacious with a double bed and mosquito net, a couch, a little closet area with hangers and a fan. The bathroom was huuuge and beautifully designed. Each cabin has a terrace with two lounge chairs where we mostly hung out. We had everything we needed. The entire place was very clean, the cabins, the restaurant, everything.

Mares Homestay-Raja Ampat is set in Fam. Located on the beachfront, this property features a private beach area. The accommodation provides full-day security, room service and organising tours for guests. We love everything about Mares Homestay!!!! The location is peaceful and close to amazing spots. The room was new and with all the necessary, comfy bed, extra mattress for the terrace, hammock, sun bed, to hung all the wet clothes, tables, chair, mosquito net… The bathrooms were always clean, both with shower. You can find a little village 5 minutes walking where everyone is friendly. They super welcome us, we were lucky and dance with them traditional Papuan music. So much fun!! 🤩 The food was plenty and delicious, we had special meal for Christmas!! They separated the portions and cook different plates every time. Apart from breakfast, lunch and dinner they will bring cakes at afternoon. Water, tea & coffee all day. Electricity from 6 pm to 6 am. But the best about Mares is Luky, the owner and his beautiful family. Everyone is happy and friendly. We love to meet them. Luky is a super host and he speak really good English. Don’t miss his tours! We snorkel 🤿 with at least 10 mantas!!! And we were there alone! We saw the eagle ray, the Wobbegong shark 🦈 and beautiful corals. We explore Pyanemo, Melissa’s garden, Rufas súper relax… At night we really enjoy the ride to other island to meet the Coconut 🥥 crabs 🦀 Also he is an amazing boat driver! He took us safe and pick up on time. Communication was smooth during months on WhatsApp! We found a friend in Raja Ampat! Hopefully we can come back soon!!! We were lucky because “Luky” is very lucky 🍀 maybe because he is always happy!!!! 😃 We love his energy!!

Located in Besir in the West Papua region, Indos Dive Homestay-Raja Ampat has a balcony. Featuring full-day security, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The accommodation provides private check-in and check-out and a minimarket for guests. This homestay on Besir island is ideally located near several interests spots in Raja Ampat. The place is calm, only two cabins on the water, connected to a village full of charm. The utilities are on the beach, near the owner's house. It's very clean and has everything required to answer basic needs. Regarding the rooms, mosquito net on the bed, fan, electricity at night, blankets, hammock, sunbed and basic furnitures. All the meals (included in the reservation) are served to your cabin, they vary and are prepared by an great cook! So everything is tasteful and good. No connection except if you get a SIM card on arrival at Sorong's airport but deconnection is great. It's easy to communicate with the owner who speaks well English (rare in Raja Ampat) and he tries his best for you to have the best stay possible. Him and his family are super nice and welcoming while respecting your privacy. I came with a friend and we stayed 3 full days, we had an amazing time there and we can only recommend this place. All the activities we've done through them were memorable, we had a lot of fun. Have a good holiday there!

Facing the seafront in Yennanas Besir, Efenli Arnes homestay has a private beach area and a terrace. This holiday home offers free private parking and full-day security. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The homestay is idyllic and secluded. We were right on the water, the porch is nicely decorated, there's a table and chairs so in the evenings we could easily play cards. In the day, if we weren't diving with Corepen (they come and collect you and drop you off), we would snorkel on the coral reef in front of the homestay which is fantastic! We saw a turtle, ray, squid, clown fish, a shark etc. All three meals are included and Lina's cooking is amazing. We would eat fresh fish everyday. Portion size is very generous so you won't be going hungry. Lina and Arnes are so kind and gentle hosts we couldn't recommend this more. Their English is very limited so just make sure you download a translator app if you don't have data (there's no WiFi). The amenities are basic and you get electricity from around 6:30pm-10:30pm but for us, this only added to its charm. When we passed other homestays, we were always grateful for picking Efenli.
