What I’ve found, is that when you visit India, the two main things you need is a place to stay that has adequate amenities and an owner that you can communicate with and who can help you. In Sunrise Bed & Brekfast we found both and in the highest degree. The room we stayed in was well maintained, with clean sheets and a modern bathroom and toilet. The building has a beautiful garden where you can relax and a terrace where you can watch the sunset and the surrounding area. It’s away from the roads and the village centre, so it’s peaceful and quiet, far from all the honking. It’s in walking distance from the village centre and the main group of temples that you will want to visit, i.e. the western group of temples. For the rest that Khajuraho has to offer, eg. the Panna National Tiger Reserve, the Raneh waterfalls and the rest of he temples (Eastern and South groups), you will have the great help and guidance of the amazing owner Veda. Veda was eager to help us with everything we needed, he understood our needs, explained everything and even suggested a program with us that we followed and worked out perfectly. He found tickets for us for the tiger reserve, although they were sold out! Because you will need a transportation vehicle for most of the sightseeing areas around Khajuraho, Veda also arranged for us cheap transportation with an auto rickshaw 🛺, which would otherwise cost us a fortune. We were lucky enough to have as a driver the wonderful Samim, who was always there to explain to use and give information about the various places we visited. He was always smiling despite the long drives. Regarding the food, the breakfast was very tasty and filling, they were offering us free tea and bottles of water or filtered water anytime and they also prepare dinner very cheaply which is also amazing and among the best Thali we had in India! I can’t imagine a more pleasant stay in Khajuraho and for sure I will stay in this place again and again every time I visit.

The Highvill Home Stay ligger 15 minutters gang fra Lakshmana Temple og tilbyder en have og en terrasse samt indkvartering med balkon og gratis wi-fi. The room was so clean. The staffs were really good and friendly. I have visited many places. But here is the first time I am visiting a room which is having facilities more than their price. I really loved it.

Hotel Dream Inn Khajuraho ligger i Khajuraho, 16 minutters gang fra Lakshmana Temple og 1,6 km fra Kandariya Mahadeva Temple, og har en terrasse. Room, bed and bathroom very clean ;) Hot water (be patient since it takes a few moments), plenty of pillows and an electric kettle in the room - all ready for our comfort. What I appreciated was the swift reaction when a few guests across the corridor had a room party and I mentioned the noise - We had a quiet night after that :) The hotel has 5 lovely freshly renovated rooms and breakfast is taken either in the room or in the lobby. Omlette and chai were delicious and prepared on time as requested. Staff helped us with getting the online tickets for the temples - Thanks!

Location, best for female safety, amazing for solo travelers. Can cook your own food. We had got late from shayan aarti of mahakaal, but the owner stayed up until we came back.
