This hotel was excellent in every aspect: from check-in, to the room itself, to our meals at the restaurant, we were all around satisfied. It appears as if the Fosshotel chain has hit on a magic formula for travelers in Iceland. Our waitress in the evenings was simply excellent.

Loved the place very scenic. The staff was amazing too. We were running late for dinner at the hotel and the restaurant was going to close by the time we got there. The Staff managed to put away food for us on the side this way when we got to the hotel we had all the meals ready. Thank you hotel Laxa for the great hospitality and good stay!

Myvo The Studio apartment at Geiteyjarströnd 4 ligger i Reykjahlíð, 9 km fra Myvatn Naturbad og 48 km fra Goðafoss, og har en have og udsigt til en have. The location was excellent and the view of the lake was stunning. The suite was beautifully decorated. We appreciated the washing machine.

Birkilauf i Myvatn ligger under 2,6 km fra naturbadene i Myvatn og byder på en række faciliteter, herunder udsigt over søen og bjergene. 11/10! host joanna was really excellent, she made sure that we were settled in and showed great hospitality! she had great recommendations on where to go, and also topped up the breakfast goodies for us when it was running low. the guesthouse also was really amazing - just 4 rooms and a huge living area and a very well stocked kitchen. all the kitchenware and appliances were high quality and super easy to use, and we really cooked up a feast every night because it really had everything you need! (including soy sauce for us Asians!) of the 3 nights we stayed here, we had a whole day of snow and so we just stayed in and watched tv (we really needed the downtime), and saw aurora right from the balcony one of those nights. the rooms a bit small but overall still comfortable and nice, and considering we largely hung out at the common area this really wasn't any issue. birkilauf was HANDS DOWN our #1 accoms in iceland and i will be recommending all my friends to stay here!
