The accommodation features a hot tub, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. What a beautiful property surrounded by mountains and a small waterfall. We were pleasantly surprised by the side of the cottage, it was much bigger than we expected. The front porch area was all glass windows and doors with amazing views and a hot tub and there was a deck with a grill as well. The kitchen had everything we needed, even a waffle maker. This was my kids' favorite place, they loved the hot tub (no jets), the soccer field and small playground outside as well as walking up the hill near the waterfall. The lollipops on their pillows were also a great surprised for them. :) It was very relaxing and we enjoyed our stay.

Tjörn is a recently renovated guest house in Hvammstangi, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The property features mountain and garden views. The host, the house, the coziness, the position in front of the ocean, we could see an amazing show of northern nights. Olga, the host, is incredibly kind and nice; we had a last minute change of plans because of the weather and our northern lights chase and despite of the very short notice of our request she was so flexible and accommodating. The house is amazingly decorated, you really feel like home and honestly if we wouldn’t have had so less time during our trip, we would have loved to relax there some more days. Absolutely recommended!! 🩷

The Apartment was beautiful, comfortable, featured plenty of windows to enjoy the stunning view of the lake in front and the mountain in the back. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need, there is even a laundry machine. The location is perfect, right next to Dimmuburgir, Hverir, the cave and of course the lake which benefited us with a beautiful sunset from the kitchen. It wasn't so cheap but worth the money.

Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. With a terrace, the property also features a shared lounge and a fully-equipped kitchen. Had an awesome stay! The host was super friendly and gave us some great tips for things to do in the area. The kitchen had everything we needed, which was really handy. Just bring your dinner/lunch and cook as if you are at home cause you will have plenty of pots/pans/oil/salt. Our room was clean and modern. We even got to see the Northern Lights in April!

It is a special place, filled with things lovingly made by the hosts themselves. The bedding and towels are delicately embroidered, and the bath was perfect for easing the fatigue of a long journey. Every item on the breakfast table was prepared with Hildur’s heartfelt care — eating it made us happy. Even on a moonlit night, we were able to see the magnificent northern lights, and the starlight was just as breathtaking. We were warmly welcomed by the lovely Bessi and Kappi as well. This is an unforgettable dream home. We are especially grateful to Hildur for her kindness and the love she put into everything. Thank you so much.

This is the best guesthouse we’ve ever stayed in. The hosts are incredibly kind and hospitable, making it a wonderful experience to spend time with them. The breakfast was delicious, and every single item in the house has a warm and unique charm, making you feel like you're in a movie or a museum. I highly recommend this place!
