The bathroom and shower area were very clean especially for being shared. The dining area, doubling as a common space, was cozy. There was only one restaurant (Italian) open in the evening and a single convenience store (usual opening hours) in the area, so prepare accordingly. As such we booked dinner and breakfast at the pension. It was a bit on the expensive side but the amount and especially the quality of the food made it worth. We were served a four course dinner, accompanied with great sake. The breakfast was western style. We would come back without a doubt.
