We had an amazing stay! The glamping site is peaceful, right by the river, with beautiful views and nature all around. It’s perfect for relaxing or being active. The place is pet-friendly—we stayed with our cat, and the owners’ dog was super cute and friendly. The owners and staff were kind and helpful, giving great tips about local activities. The room was spacious, clean, and well-designed, with a lovely walk-in shower. We loved the terrace and small garden for privacy and views. The outdoor shower was great after exercise. Breakfast and picnic options were delicious. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Highly recommend for couples, families, or friends.

You can rent his high quality rental bikes and see all the local recommendations for Sakurajima, so we couldn’t recommend this spot enough - an experience worth more than can be counted with money.

It was my birthday and they got me a cake and played/sang with the saxophone! The view from the deck is incredible, and you can see the sunrise in the morning, stars at night. The weather on the south side of the island is so much warmer than the north, too. Glad I stayed in the southern part. Keisuke makes incredible breakfasts. Splurge on one of their dinners. This place is best for couples with a car cuz of the room size and the location.

The property was beautifully functional and minimal. That made us really comfortable. It is not super close to the beach but the view of Amami island’s nature is just there!! Got to check the morning sunrise from the window.

The house has a pleasant, traditional feel and it is very spacious. The kitchen is big and it was easy to prepare meals every day. The host was very nice and whenever we had any questions she promptly responded. The garden, as small as it is, is well taken care of and we could actually pick some ripe kumquats from the tree. The location is practical for exploring northern part of the island. It was a marvellous holiday.

Everything is perfect. The house s tucked in a quiet neighborhood. You will enjoy short walk to two beaches (one is in cove so it’s gentle, perfect for beach picnic, the other one has good wave, perfect for surfing). The owner is so accommodating and kind. The house is impeccably updated and layout of the house is well thought out. This is an exceptional vacation house.

Boss'sHouse 犬ok 1組限定の宿 is gelegen in Kirishima, op 41 km van station Kagoshima-Chūō en 42 km van station Kagoshima, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, airconditioning, een tuin en een terras. Boss's house is the best! Beds are comfy and water pressure is very good and Haruka makes delicious food even had soy milk for our coffee and really thought of everything for us. Her English is good and you can feel at ease at Boss's House. Her dad is very nice and even played us some traditional Okinawa music. If you want a real Japanese host experience we can not recommend it highly enough. Just understand this is home in the middle of quiet street nothing is walkable so we had haruka pick us up and drop us off at airport which was seemless experience but does cost extra but it is totally worth it as taxis can be difficult to find or guide to this location. Haruka communication with us before our trip was above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We loved our stay on our way to Yakushima Island as a one night layover.
