Tropicana Home Stay bevindt zich in Arugam Bay, op een paar minuten lopen van Arugam Bay Beach en 3,2 km van Muhudu Maha Viharaya. Nice room with comfortable bed. Quiet location. Very good instant water heater for the shower. They cooked a special chicken biryani for lunch which was delicious. We also had their very good Sri Lankan breakfast. Good value overall.

You will truly relax here. The property is pretty much spotless and located just meters from the Indian Ocean, which means you can hear the waves ALL NIGHT. The staff is super attentive and thoughtful, from the caretakers to the bartenders to the management. I was also pleasantly surprised to find real Neapolitan pizza, a wide selection of Italian wines, and caffè corretto with Sambuca (!) – just when I started missing European flavors a bit ;) And if that wasn’t enough, the yoga classes first thing in the morning put you in a blissful mood. Would definitely come back <3

Charitha Rest is gelegen in Ampara en heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras, en gratis WiFi. Charitha organized two boat safari for me at very very short notice. Both were absolutely fantastic (apart from a fellow tourist who would not stop talking, unaware of needing to be quiet when viewing animals and the etiquette of how to behave on a Safari). The boat safari is breathtaking. I saw an elephant crossing from one island to another and a few small herds. Very magical! The guest house is in a very small village surrounded by jungle. Extremely peaceful and a fabulous place to stay the night. Charitha's family is adorable and so friendly and he will go out of his way to help you in any way he can. He organized a car to take me to Arugem Bay and even accompanied me. I did look at other options of where to stay but this was extremely close to the Boat Safari, only a 10 minute ride which he also organized and I'm thrilled that I picked this guest house. Incredible value for money and a highlight of my trip !

The biggest bed ever and very comfortable. Gardens are well taken care of and adds a nice privacy to the room. Very clean room and bathroom. We were greeted by amazing and super friendly hosts who gave us complementary coffee. Tuktuk parking behind a gate which was awesome for us. Very clean place and kitchen that you can use and store and cook food in if needed. We really loved our stay here. Host gave us great recommendations for food places and sight seeing. I would stay again. Thank you 🙏

Forcus Cabanas ligt in Arugam Bay en biedt rustige en rustige accommodatie te midden van weelderig tropisch groen. Het biedt een 24-uursreceptie en comfortabele kamers met gratis WiFi. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy. The host was friendly and helpful. The place is near the beach and restaurants. The room looked nice and was equipped with a mini bar and A/C. Nice place to relax. I recommend this place to anyone.

Domestic Villa ligt op 3 minuten lopen van Arugam Bay Beach en biedt een tuin en een terras. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een patio en gratis WiFi. We had the privilage to be Haleem’s firts guests in this amazing place. We were welcomed like a Royal Family! Villa can offer a huge space, 2 bedrooms with private bathroom each. Living room with comfy sofa and additional bathroom. Well equipped kitchen and washing machine You can find all you need in this place. Location is great, 4 min walk to main street. Close enough to be in the city Centre. Far enough to not hear loud music at night. Haleem is very nice person, very kind, engaged and helpful host.

Surf Dream Villa Arugambay ligt in Arugam Bay, op 7 minuten lopen van Arugam Bay Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. It’s a quiet, small place. We got the ac room which was very spacious and comfortable.

STARFISH beach bungalow ligt in Arugam Bay, op 4 minuten lopen van Whisky Point, en biedt accommodatie met een fitnesscentrum, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een terras. We loved staying here! The rooms are beautiful, the outdoor bathroom with clothesline was the best. Really strong water pressure in the shower, comfortable bed in a big room with excellent A/C and fan. Breakfast was ample and yum, and the staff Svena and Raj are both lovely people who are helpful and kind. The garden is beautiful and nice to hang out in, and the location is so close to Pottuvil Point for sufring and good restaurants (especially Mr Moon and The Tasty Tuna). The village is quiet, calm and friendly. We'd have loved to stay longer.
