Gave us lots of recommendations and booked an overnight tour into the amazon through them (which was amazing!). Stored our luggage whilst we were on the trip. Air con kept us cool in the amazon heat. Chip is american which helped us english massively. Would stay here again if i ever come back to iquitos

A recently renovated campground situated in Iquitos, Retazos Eco Hotel features a garden. With garden views, this accommodation offers a balcony. The campground features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. We had a nice stay here for x4 nights before our tour of the Amazon. It was nice to be somewhere peaceful so that we could properly relax & rest before our adventure. The hosts are very friendly too, the room was clean & the air conditioning & Wi-Fi worked well. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. We loved this hotel! 100% our very favourite accommodation in 6 weeks in Peru! The family operating this hotel is some of the kindest people we met and they will help you with anything you need :) Their property is huge and they show you around and explain to you everything you need and want to know! I was sick for 2 days, and they even made me a special herbal tea from an Amazonian plant that helped me a lot. Even the food - amazing!! All the meals are delicious, freshly prepared, and made with a lot of local and seasonal plants from their 14-hectare land. On our walk, we even went to pick fruits with them, which we could try 5 minutes later! This was truly an amazing experience, and this hotel alone was worth the commute to Iquitos.

The accommodation is non-smoking. The apartment is super nice, big and had everything we could hope for. We especially loved the huge bed and big bathroom.

Beautiful house, with a well equipped kitchen and lovely tranquil garden. The bus into the city leaves from right outside the property so it's easy to get around. Good place to rest and have a relaxing peaceful time. Host was friendly welcoming and attentive, made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Complimentary WiFi is offered throughout the property. The staff were very knowledgeable about the different species of animals. I really enjoyed feeding the bully monkeys that came down to the boat we were on. A great experience thru the Rainforest during high season.

The 2-bedroom apartment is fitted with a living room with a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and a toaster, and 2 bathrooms with a hair dryer. Towels and bed linen are offered in the apartment. Additional in-room amenities include chocolates or cookies. The host Lidsky give us a warm welcome drink. The house equips with a very clean kitchen, pots, stove, kettle, plates, fridge...etc, so it's easy to make a simple breakfast by ourselves. The airconditions are working well, so it helps us with a humid/warm night in Iquitos. There's no hot water for the shower, but I don't want it, either. It's not far from Mercado Belén.

The accommodation provides evening entertainment and a concierge service. Martin and his team were absolutely amazing, when our backback ripped just when we arrived Martin offered to fix it we were so grateful since it would have been impossible to travel with a broken backpack. Our guide Flavio and driver Emanuel really went above and beyond to show us everything when it comes to the wildlife in Amazon, he even went back looking for my sunglasses that I managed to loose on our walking tour. We were lucky to see everything from Pink river dolphins, sloths, monkeys, capybaras, caymans and a lot more. The food was very good and healthy. The rooms were comfortable and we really loved the hammocks that were on the balcony, perfect to relax there between adventures in the Amazon.
