Located in the middle of an archaeological site from the Roman period. Part of the nearby woods is a bird reserve. A hiking route starts from the property and leads to the hill peak. Friendliness and politeness of the lady that welcomed us, despite the error I did while booking. We arrived one day before the booking and well after the check-in time, but the room was ready and it has been given to us, first the single night we spent there. The place is exceptionally quiet, the position is great, it's clean and the breakfast is one of the best I've ever had during my stays. The products are almost all self grown or made. The city is at walking distance among the greens and the panorama is gorgeous!

We had a perfect family room, two big separate bedrooms, a big enough bathroom with a spacious shower. The garden, minigolf and playground were a great surprise.

It is located 32 km from Ptuj Golf Course and offers private check-in and check-out. The bed and breakfast features family rooms. Wonderful place, extremely friendly and helpful hosts, and cozy rooms. The ski slope is right outside your windows. The food was perfect. The best part were the homemade breads and spreads. Dinner can be ordered on request, and it's really worth trying. We had a great weekend and we'll come back, ski season or not.

Featuring lake views, Apartmaji Babi provides accommodation with patio, around 39 km from Maribor Train Station. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. When staying at the apartment, guests can use private entrance. The apartment is very new and has been lovingly created with great attention to detail; from traditional window frames which form part of the banisters, to the beautiful wooden floors and the wood-burning oven. The apartment is well-equipped, towels and bedding are provided and if we needed anything else then we only had to ask and our host provided it immediately. We were given fresh milk, apples, coffee and sweets upon arrival which we much appreciated! The apartment is located above the pizzeria and if you order the delicious pizzas everything is brought up to your terrace (including cutlery, plates and sauces) and you can eat in your own little space whilst listening to the owls call. We ate all our meals on the terrace with beautiful views over the rolling countryside, the lake beyond the trees and the mountains in the distance. Markovci is a sweet little town, with two shops, a pharmacy and an amazing ice cream shop! The village is just a few minutes walk from the lake and a stunning nature reserve. The gorgeous town of Ptuj is just a short drive away and well worth a visit (or two). It is true that the walls are a little thin and you can hear the apartment next door. But this wasn’t a problem as they got up and went to bed about the same time as we did. The apartment had air conditioning which was excellent during the summer heat. All in all we loved our stay, we felt very welcome and were impressed by our host, the apartment, the village and indeed Slovenia as a whole. We would love to come again, thank you for a lovely stay!
