As nature lovers we took a walk to see the hall in the wall. Everything is out of this world, the unpolluted air, great hospitality. The house is spacious with everything a traveller needs for self catering.

He even brought us groceries from town and was always helpful. The accommodation is a small camp with two cozy bungalows, which he runs together with his mother, three friendly dogs, and a cat. The facilities are excellent—everything was clean and well-maintained. One of the highlights is the wide, beautiful view over the mountains all the way to the sea. A walk of about 25 minutes through the village leads to a picturesque waterfall. You get a truly authentic feeling of life in a South African village, far away from mass tourism. The villagers were very friendly and curious. Louis knows the entire village well and helps out with small agricultural jobs in the community. For us, the stay was an absolute highlight. We would return anytime and can highly recommend it to everyone.
