The location is amazing! The view out of our bedroom window, I could have sat on our balcony forever! The food every night and every course (all 5 of them) were the best quality food we have ever had! The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the spa was beautiful. Beautiful hotel, centrally located in Pertisau, 5mins walk from the lake, 7-8mins from the centre and the boat landing stage, 5mins from the Karwendel cable car. Bonus, for Chalet School book fans, it overlooks the Alpenhof Hotel, thought to be the location of the Chalet School series by Elinor M Brent-Dyer. The hotels staff couldn't do enough for us, the manager even drove us down to Jenbach when we ordered a taxi. The waitresses all in Tyrolean dress were delightful. The rooms were spotlessly clean. My single was upgraded to a beautiful double with a balcony overlooking the mountains and a side window with a view towards the lake. The food was gorgeous. Beautiful continental style breakfast, soup at lunchtime which we only used once because we out so much, free cake available in the afternoons, and a 3 course meal in the evening, all of which were gorgeous (meat, fish and vegetarian option available each evening). We had a gala dinner of 6 courses the night before we left. The manager Florian was lovely and answered all our questions about Pertisau, and we explained the Chalet School and the importance of Pertisau to him. A well-appointed gym that my friend used, amazing children's play and exercise facilities, and beautiful pool (indoor to outdoor) and an amazing water massage bed (20 euro, but well worth it). Highly recommend for couples, friends or families.
