It is a very good location if you want walking distance access to EPFL and the beach of the lake, as well as the UNIL campus. Excellent breakfast, pool and so on. Nothing to complain about.

Staff was very friendly, the pool was quiet and very cozy early in the morning and later in the afternoon. During the day it gets a bit busy. The location of the hotel is simply amazing. It has lake view and is really few meters away from the promenade.

Hotel Angleterre is located on the shores of Lake Geneva facing the Alps, and is just 5 minutes by car or metro from the centre of Lausanne.

The location is amazing: right on the lake, I had amazing view from my windows, the metro is 3 minutes walk away. The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable and I loved the linens. The bathroom had a shower and a tub, a huge win for me. The isolating windows make the room very quite. There are two sets of blinds to choose from. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Amazing hotel, very recommended.
