We had an exceptional stay. The house is tastefully and creatively renovated, peacefully set in a large garden, surrounded by the vineyards of the Cognac. Our room was very comfortable and we had a very enjoyable dinner with the hosts and their family, they made it feel like staying with old friends. We also tasted some excellent and unusual wines and an extraordinary cognac.

The Villa was exceptional in every sense; from the opulent antique furnishings, works of art, sculptures and decorative items, to the setting in a beautifully manicured parklike gardens, and the gracious, warm and heartfelt hospitality of Antoine and Bernard, who went out of their way to make our stay very special and memorable. Our stay at their Villa will be embedded in our memories and will be a most definite repeat if we return to Rouillac and this beautiful part of the Charente region.

And the two lovely hosts might have some surprising things to tell you, too. Staff were really really nice and very helpful. We had a delay and were going to be late and they sent us all information to check in and left us the keys inside our room. Breakfast was good and the location of the property is really good.
