The location is fantastic. We stayed only one night and it was a luxurious experience. The public baths on the rooftop were quiet and clean, with a small sauna room. The staff was very kind and helpful and let us leave the luggage after the check-out time to allow us to go around the city a bit.

The sushi restaurant and the bar in the roof are very good . All the staffs were super friendly . The temperature was really cold for two days and they passed out hot packs for guests on their way out.

Tatami room was beautiful and very comfortable for families with young children. I loved how well the amenities were prepared for an overnight stay, where you didn't need to retrieve clothes from your luggage and some items. The room was well-thought-out, providing English translations for those who do not understand Japanese. There were free coffee sachet sets and drinking water provided. Additionally, they included instructions stating that the water from the bathroom was drinkable. The heating and room temperature were sufficient for the cold weather. I didn't even use the AC or heating as it was neither cold nor hot enough to require them. I've read previous reviews suggesting that the staff should be trained to speak in English. However, I understand this point; I would like to express that since we are traveling in their country, Japan, as tourists, we should also adjust our English pace and perhaps use Google Translate when communicating with Japanese staff. They are very polite and helpful. Although I do know a little Japanese, I always try to adapt to the country I am visiting since they do not need to adjust for us. We should be the ones to adapt to the place we are visiting. Just my advice, as previous reviews keep mentioning that the staff should be trained. Again, I understand this point, but these are just my thoughts on it. I would recommend Apa Hotel in any location as they provide quality service in a convenient location.
