The price is high, but you can expect a lot. The hotel rooms were great. You could choose if you prefer to sleep in big comfy western beds or prefered a Japanese futon instead (there were two rooms, so enough space to get the futons out). Maybe prepare a bit in advance, so that you know what´s going on, because the English introduction at reception is a bit shorter than the Japanese one, but the staff is always really helpful and can answer your questions. Breakfast and diner were both included and were fantastic. The sushi cook in the evening was so helpful and we tried 2-3 different sort of fish we never had before. And all the other dishes were great, too. Don´t forget to stop in time, so that there is still room for dessert ;o) The onsen on the roof is wonderful. You have an excellent night view and can see the beautiful harbour area. There is an onsen for women and one for men. First there is a big room where you undress and put your clothes in little baskets. Then there is a shower room followed by a pool, a whirlpool and the lovely onsen. And if you want to spend around 200 Yen extra, don´t forget to visit the room with the massage chairs. They are amazing.

I actually booked the wrong date for this hotel, and came 2 months before my actual booking. I arrived close to midnight and was quite frantic since there were no other hotels in the area. Reception very kindly accepted my reservation which I am eternally grateful for. The hotel is very clean and quiet. Slippers and drinking water are provided. The hotel is actually quite large, and the breakfast buffet spread (although expensive) is well worth the price considering the variety and quality. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a beautiful view of Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge.

The best accommodation in the area! Spotless and spacious room, i like there are both beds and tatami beds in the room so you can choose what to use, the onsen is marvelous, the dinner and the breakfast are excellent, staff are friendly and professional, would love to stay in this hotel again, thanks a lot!

The breakfast was exceptional with the widest selection for everyone (hot and cold). The staff were very helpful on any issue. Room was well laid out with a beautiful view and very quiet. Lovely bar at the top of the hotel with great views over Kobe. Location to subway and Shinkansen could not have been better. There is now a coin laundry which was extremely clean, efficient and inexpensive to use. A great gym as well with plenty of equipment.
