Our stay at this beachfront property was nothing short of magical! The property is so beautifully and tastefully designed that we felt completely at home and didn’t even feel the need to venture out much. The views from the bedroom were absolutely marvelous, with the beach just 20 meters away—waking up to the sound of the waves and a stunning seascape was such a treat every morning. The pool was another highlight, providing the perfect spot to relax and watch the sunset each evening. Special shoutout to the chef - Sam who was outstanding, preparing delicious meals that made every dining experience memorable. We tried almost every cuisine from their menu and everything was delicious- Sri Lankan food, Tuna Pizza, Salads, Spaghetti, prawn and chicken curry. I regret not tasting their Burgers 🍔 The food was so good that we didn’t feel like exploring other restaurants.The staff ( Chamo, Dhanesh, Manager, security guard, driver -apologies for forgetting your names ) were exceptionally cooperative and attentive, ensuring that our every need was met. They went above and beyond in every way- they even bought a new feeding chair for our 1 year old which made things so much easier for us. As a family traveling with an infant, we were delighted to find that our little one was completely comfortable throughout our stay. He enjoyed exploring the property and loved the beach. This property is truly a gem, and we can’t wait to return for it’s location, comfortable bed, cleanliness, staff and of course Food ❤️

We absolutely loved staying here for 3 days! You will live in a wonderful garden with an amazing pool view. The hosts and the staff are extremely helpful and will make everything to create a cozy atmosphere for you. Nelson is a great chef indeed.We had a delicious dinner prepared by him. The place is in 5 minutes distance from the beautiful Bentota beach. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Kurumba Villa for 3 nights and it couldn’t be any better. The entire property is very neat and clean. Very big pool :) and nice common area. In our Villa we had a lot of space and of course it was very clean, too. The owner and her staff are the nicest people, they assured that we feel comfortable at any time, were supportive with any request ;) thank you very much for making our time so unforgettable!

I loved this property. I travel to Bentota every 6 months and it’s the best place I’ve stayed. Ultra clean property with all the amenities you need, including washing machine, iron and proper pressure hot shower. Lalith and his wife are superstar hosts that will make you feel at home. Very peaceful place walking distance to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. I can’t recommend this place highly enough! I can’t wait to go back!

The villa itself and the design of it is outrageous. We enjoyed every piece of it: a modern suite, clean swimming pool, well-conditioned garden. The staff was great, they were really polite and helpful, including the staff from the restaurant, who was nice as well. The suite was cleaned every day. It was never a problem to ask for a smth. I'd definitely recommend Villa Thamburu.

Great garden and swimming pool. Beautiful sunsets. Sweet staff and very tasty kitchen! Both Sri Lankan and western style food was great and at a very good price. Jaba Tours that operates from Sea Rock Villa gave us a very nice tour.

Very nice hotel with a well trained staff. View from the hotel room was amazing. Buffet had so many options. There are two large swimming pools.

Amazing swimming pools and access to the beach. Family friendly and caters to kids at the restaurant and amazing indoor play area! Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Everything - if you want a 5 star all inclusive this is your place. The property is large enough that you don’t realise how many people are there - until you queue for ice cream of course! We only stayed for 2 nights to end our tour and it was nice to end in clean luxury. We didn’t visit the beach but it looked nice. Swimming pools were big and enough space to enjoy family time. Adults only pool was also nice with the swim up bar. Good food spread, particularly the fresh fish/meat on offer at every meal.

A beautiful renovation and expansion of an architectural classic originally designed by Geoffrey Bawa. The rooms are large and luxuriously equipped with huge balconies. Breakfasts are superb with a wide range of international options. The pools are beautiful, especially the pool with the swim-up bar!

Lovely hotel, large, spacious, airy, well decorated indoor spaces. The room we had was enormous, comfy bed and very well equipped, with everything we needed. The balcony was also huge with a settee, coffee table and table and chairs with a view of the gardens, palm trees and swimming pools. The staff were very attentive and friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast buffet was excellent and both swimming pools were really warm, as was the sea. My wife and I also liked the morning yoga class on the jetty by the river.
