The hotel is amazing, the decoration,, pool, and the staff if so friendly, installations are perfect, seeing monkeys playing in the trees across the road, the breakfast is divine! Especially the fruit juices and the yogurt with muesli etc. Also have a very good value laundry service. Location is great, a little out of town but only 5 minutes in tuktuk to the ford. We did the early morning boat tour as well 100% recommended !

This is the place where you want to stay while visiting Sri Lanka. You spending your holiday in the history of this country. A spice traders house built in 1860 and completely renovated recently with lots of taste. The rooms, the living and dining areas, garden with the pool, everything is so beautiful and it feels it’s your own private home. Also breakfast and dinner was amazing and very tasty. The manager and all the staff are extremely helpful and super friendly. As it’s just a bit outside of Galle Fort, it’s super calm. But only a short stroll to reach the harbour with the local fisherman and the old town by foot. If not, a Tuk Tuk ride takes 5 minutes. Everything was just perfect.

Urban Galle Villa is undeniably one of the best accommodations I have ever been in Sri Lanka, and surely the best one in Galle. It‘s owned by a very kind family, and you feel immediately like home there! Everything was squeaky clean, and the breakfast delicious! Beautiful hotel interior. All staff are very friendly and always smiling. It was nice that there was beach access. The attentiveness of the staff is what really made it stand out like contacting us before we arrived to ensure we were all set and they helped organise our activities. Bihara and his family are super friendly hosts. They did everything that we felt comfortable. Bihara was always reachable via Whatsapp and answered quickly if we had questions. The room was great, big with a comfy bed, great working AC, even hot shower and a big table with chair. Perfect for people like us who had to work. It has a kettle and free coffee and tea in the room as well as in the kitchen. There is a separate kitchen just for the guests. The living room is huge and has very big tables where you eat breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and we got every morning something different. Another plus is the fast internet connection (fibre optic), which we appreciated because of working. There was also a dedicated parking space for our own TukTuk.

This is the place where you want to stay while visiting Sri Lanka. You spending your holiday in the history of this country. We really enjoyed our stay at Windy Garden. The room and swimming pool were very nice. We liked the Sri Lankan breakfasts and there was always someone at home to help you with anything. The owner made sure we had a nice tuktuk driver who brought us to town. He also arranged for a taxi driver to take us to Tissa. We would definitely recommend Windy Garden!

Amazing place! Good value for the money! Delicious breakfast! Big rooms , swimming pool, beautiful, big bathroom with a tub. They have even extended some hours for check out, really happy with my stay. Special thanks to Andre! He arranged transport to get back to the city.

Everything was literally great Location is good 2 mins away from fort The host is extra nice, and helpful. Staff are welcoming and always smiling Loved their breakfast & their swimming pool view and garden. If I visit Galle this is were I am staying again

Beautifully decorated, quiet, clean, comfortable, atmospheric with meditative feel, pleasant indoor swimming pool, good WIFI, lots of areas where you can sit, relax or work.

We loved the garden and birds, outdoor seating area, swimming pool and breakfast. The decor and atmosphere of the whole property is calming and so beautiful. Excellent location in the heart of Galle Fort! Beautiful 4 poster beds with mosquito nets. We asked for some coffee in the afternoon and it was served beautiful and they didn't charge us for it.
