Very nice place to stay. Each room has its own private bathroom, reliable Wi-Fi suitable for work, and access to a shared kitchen. There is a beautiful garden behind the house with hammocks and a swimming pool, perfect for relaxing. The owner is very helpful and can arrange motorbike rental. The nearest surf spots, Lazy Left and Lazy Right, are only a 5-minute walk away.

Our stay at Hotel Helani was absolutely amazing! The staff was incredibly polite and helpful, making us feel so welcome. The breakfast was fantastic, and I especially loved spending time by the pool at night—it was so relaxing and serene. The rooms were immaculately clean and beautifully designed, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. I highly recommend Hotel Helani to anyone visiting down south Sri Lanka. It was truly one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve had, and I have to emphasize again—the pool is simply divine! Plus, the room service was outstanding. Can’t wait to visit again!

There is magic in this property that can not quite be described - you have to stay there to find out. It is a very beautiful place to stay - Breakfast & coffee was amazing and included. Specially the staff were very friendly and did a great service. Special thanks to Tina & Elio for their hospitality! Don't miss out on the signature drinks they offer, my favourite is the coconut infused Negroni. I would definitely come back.

Absolutely amazing hotel – 10/10! We stayed for a week and were beyond impressed. The hotel is stunning, the staff is incredibly kind and truly attentive, and the food is outstanding. We ended up eating on-site several times because it was just that good. The entire property has everything you need for a perfect stay. I saw some negative reviews before coming, but honestly, we didn’t experience anything like that – everything exceeded our expectations. A special highlight: my girlfriend had her birthday during our stay, and the staff made it unforgettable. They surprised her with a homemade cake at breakfast (brought out with music by the kitchen team!), and later, the room was beautifully decorated with balloons, towel art, and more. It was truly touching. Can’t recommend this place enough – we would definitely come back!

The property and the surroundings are just amazing, the room is new, clean and the resort has many different amenities enjoyable during the stay. What has made the staying so good was the staff, especially Mr Chandana who took promptly care of us and of any necessities we had. Beautiful hotel with private beach. Beach towels were provided. The Pool was nice and cool. Delicious breakfast was served on rooftop bar with stunning view. We observed turtles and Surfer from our private balkony. Staff was very kind and helpful. Hotel is in walking distance to different beaches and Restaurants.

Morena Hotel was incredible. Where else in the world can you walk out onto the sand & catch a wave for this price $ per night. It was so relaxing & I think the property became more beautiful with each passing hour. The rooftop bar was magic, the all-vegan menu was delicious & bar staff very friendly. The pool was gorgeous & we spent out days lounging on the sun-chairs, swimming, reading, sleeping. After staying in several different hotels in Sri Lanka, Morena is the best! I'm going to remember this place forever.
