I arrived in Thermen Bad Nieuweschans about 300 km into a solo bikepacking trip, and instantly made use of the saunas and hot tubs. I particularly liked the unique vibe of the northern light sauna, the scandinavian scenery really adds to the experience. I also had a relaxing massage, tasty coffee with cake and a dinner, and I have to say, I felt fully rested the next morning and could continue on my trip feel8ng relaxed and fresh.

Beautiful scenery , peaceful environment We enjoyed the sultan restaurant nearby. Also visited Groningen art museum (good for the kids), treetop walk, tropique indoor pool. If the weather had been dry we would have tried the mini golf and hiring a boat. Future guests would beneft from bringing cycles or kids scooters for the mini pump track, plus a football and boules set. There was also a boules pitch, several mini playgrounds and a forest exercise/obstacle route.
