My wife and I have been to many lovely places and met some wonderful people over the last forty years, but this holday stay stands head and shoulders above them all. The owners were incredibly helpful even before we arrived, making special arrangements for our dog. When they found we were just completing the purchase of a house in Portugal they went into overdrive, introducing us to all kinds of local tradesmen and giving advice on everything we needed. The property is lovely and perfectly located for touring the area between Porto and Lisbon. The breakfast by the pool was always delicious as they use their own eggs, fruit and homemade bread and jams. And just to exemplify what exceptional human beings they are, the hosts invited us to dinner on the first night we stayed and came round to help clear our new garden the day we left! Thank you Felipe and Soisick, our guardian angels. Fight to get a room in Covoes for your holiday- it is just wonderful!!!

Everything was amazing. Beautiful place and Maria and the young boy were so helpful. Love the place and the little conversation we had. The property is gated so for rented car amazing so you not worry. The place is shared place but clean and beautiful.

Very welcoming and charming host. Place is very nice to stay at, located a bit further away, middle of nowhere but offering such a pretty place to be and enjoy holiday. Unfortunately we could only stay for one night, would have lived to be there longer! Room had everything one needs, lobby area ia amazingly pretty, common areas so functional and good that one can enjoy every minute of the stay. There is a lovely pool and even a yaguzzi next to that for guests use. Simply a treasure to find!

Such a lovely wee spot… had everything you need. Comfortable bed and delightful generous host. It’s very compact but beautifully designed. Yummy breakfast provided. Excellent value for money and the owner kindly did a load of washing for us. Heaps of towels, lovely bed linen. They also have Netflix which was a bit of a treat!

The accommodation was very comfortable and clean and we had the sole use of the garden and pool. Everything was clean and we were convenient to visit Coimbra. The host responded quickly to messages and was very helpful when I lost the information on the Booking,com app as my phone developed a problem.
