The village is a great place to stay at night. It's very calm and wonderful, especially at sunset. The room was small but we didn't need more. It had everything we needed. The equipment is modern. From the room, we had a nice view over the area surrunding Monsaraz. If you want to visit Monsaraz, you should plan to stay the night (at Casa Dona Antonia)

Wonderful clean views to the Alqueva lake! Surprising architecture, cozy common spaces. Comfortable and minimalist rooms with a private outdoor area. Helpful and friendly staff, ask and you will get it! Charge an electric car, a guide tour to the starry sky, binoculars to see the birds and bikes to wonder around!!!!

Wow, what a gem of a hotel. This is a truly spectacular property that exceeded even our high expectations. The staff and service were fantastic and the place gives you an immediate sense of calm. The surroundings are absolutely stunning. What we also appreciated was that the food, drinks and activities were not overpriced, so you left feeling like you were not taken advantage of, which can be the case for a lot of high end hotels. The food was delicious and in beautiful settings.

The property was lovely. Our apartment was very spacious although the bathrooms were very small. Breakfast was a good variety and the swimming pool was great!

The house and rooms were spacious and well-kept, with a traditional style. Breakfast has enough variety to keep you satisfied. The staff was always cheerful and lovely. There's a very nice swimming pool, especially useful in the heat of Alentejo. Last but not least, the property (and the room we stayed in) offers a great view of the castle town of Monsaraz. Guests were in general quiet and civilized, this is a great place for relaxing. You will need a car or some other private form of transport to move around the area.

Fabulous location within walking to several very good restaurants. Nice swimming pool area - important when it’s 30 degrees! Comfortable room with good size bathroom and quiet air conditioning system. Friendly accommodating staff

Authentic Portugese style accommodation, nice place outside (lots of green and cosey) to have breakfast and a nice swimming pool, very good breakfast. Staff was very friendly! Close to Monsaraz and lake Algueva and dark sky tourism.
