The hotel is in an excellent location with all the facilities of the town within a very short walk. Nicely presented rooms with comfortable bed and a very pleasant breakfast.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming. We were welcomed with a lovely glass of Rose. As we were celebrating a special wedding anniversary, we were spoiled after dinner with an amazing heart-shaped chocolate cake. The wine tour/tasting was excellent. The attention to detail to ensure wines selected for tasting were not ones we had previously had during our stay.

Everything was amazing. We were 6 people and 2 dogs. > So much space inside the house, but specially, outside! Breakfast was great, setting was magnificent. What Luiz and Catarina have built here over a number of decades is great. The gardens are stunning, the pool setting is perfect, the stars at night are sensational.

Even though the house is located in a small village, there are lots of interesting places to visit nearby that we can easily reach by car. The pool was a bonus, as it's so refreshing to have a nice swim at the end of the day! We loved our stay there!
