Amazing stay in the middle of rural Portugal. The host was absolutely kind, friendly and hospitable and many things to do while staying there!

Rooms were spacious & comfortable, breakfast was very substantial.

The house is very pleasant and even though it is an old house, it has a charm of the past. The fact that we were able to disconnect was awesome. The place is quiet with lots of small villages and natural pools in the surroundings to visit. Rogério and Silvina who contacted us were extremely helpful. The keys were delivered by Silvina at the door and she also showed us the house.

This newly refurbished quinta in a quiet village served us well during our weekend in the Beira Baixa region. The beds were comfortable, the apartment (on the ground floor, facing the street) was spacious, the kitchen well equipped.

Everything. Stefano and Katarina went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Showed us how the place was reconstructed from having been abandoned for 40 years. The renovation was outstanding, every detail was thought through. Really modern but still true to the original design. A true heaven at the end of the (very narrow) road.

Loved everything. The room, the location, the facilities, the staff. All amazing.

Beautiful house, friendly service, great breakfast. Very good option while walking the GR22. Would have liked to stay longer to enjoy the lovely garden.

A Serene experience. Beautiful accommodation featuring a mixture of styles and colours with everything being just so. Check out their own website. Our only issue would be a 20 min drive to local restaurant Papa's e Migas, but boy was it worth it. This comment is a personal point so not put as a criticism. Enjoy, but don't tell everyone, it's a secret.

The property is situated up a narrow country lane and slightly bumpy drive. For most cars it should be fine, but our car is a little sporty and low to the ground and we had to pick our way in and out of the property very carefully (we did ground a couple of times!) Once at the property it’s a reasonably large plot with a pool (big enough to dunk in but not big enough for laps). There are currently two one bedroom houses available to rent, but they are expanding and I believe there will be 5 rentals in total, some of the drive area is yet to be finished as a result. The area around the pool is all done as is the courtyard in front of the two houses which you can currently rent. There is a BBQ and seating area available for communal use, plus outside lighting. The property itself was really nice, both the living area and bedroom had air conditioning units, the kitchen has a small fridge a two ring induction hob and a microwave, a Nespresso machine plus a kettle for British people 😊 There is enough in the way of pots pans etc to go self catering, its not as equipped as home, but definitely enough. The bedroom is small but with a very large built in wardrobe, we had everything we needed unpacked in one side of it and room for our suitcases in the other side, so it was fine for us for a week. The property was immaculately clean, has a lovely old worldly feel and was a great place to stay. Though there are a couple of bars/restaurants within a 10 minute walk, you really need to either hike or drive into Monsanto for a good choice, plus mini markets/supermarkets are definitely a drive. There was a selection of tea bags and coffee capsules and milk there when we arrived, plus what you needed for breakfast - cold meats, cheese, juice, butter, jam and bread delivered early each morning. Also, washing up liquid, tea towels etc were provided.

It is a beautiful place. The rooms are large and spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the facilities are first rate. The breakfast is simple but absolutely lovely -a special mention for Elvira who was wonderful and accommodating when we had to change our breakfast times. The grounds are a delight, plenty of space to wander and the pool was fantastic. And the hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Overall a first class experience
