This lovely oasis is set in the middle of a bustling city. They have preserved so much of the original building and incorporated it beautifully into the very modern hotel they've created. Nothing is ovverdone. My room was understated and comfy, the bed was great, and the large bathroom had nice little touches that other places I have stayed in do not bother with anymore. And for me, having an elevator was a treat! The breakfast buffet was a lovely spread, covering all food groups. Plus, the staff is right there to take your order for hot food if you wish. The dining area was well-lit and spacious. The staff was warm and friendly and did not roll their eyes upon learning that I did not speak Portuguese. They helped me find where I needed to go and worked out a path on the map. I thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay and wish I could have stayed longer. I felt well taken care of and would happily return!

As a history buff, the best part of this hotel was that there was a museum with Roman ruins right inside! The location was perfect, within walking distance of many of the best restaurants, shops, and museums. We didn't have breakfast included so only had it twice but both times it was delicious and plentiful, with many selections. The staff was great as well, especially Bruno who was so helpful throughout our stay!

Amazing hotel - went for a citybreak with the family. Rooms, breakfast, gym and pool facilities, everything very good. Breakfast buffet and service was outstanding. The restaurant next to the hotel, RIB, is not to be missed, food was excellent.

We are a family of 4 with two teenagers. We stayed in a room with two doublebed. The room had a fantastic view and balcony on Av de Liberdade but there was no noice issues at all. The room was gorgeous with high ceilings and a fantastic bathroom. Beds were comfortable. A welcoming drink was offered which was a nice surprise. The breakfast was very good with a good choice of both sweet and savoury items, very good juices and fruits. One could also get an omelette made. There is a nice little gym and a poolarea with a floating garden. The personnel was very helpful. Overall a fantastic hoten with a great location for a city holiday in Lisbon.

From the second I arrived at the hotel, until I left, everything was absolutely perfect. The beautiful fragrance of the hotel was the first thing that I noticed. The friendly and helpful staff at the door and reception were extremely welcoming. The room was a good size, with a separate seating area, with a comfortable sofa. There was a dressing table with large mirror. Complementary water, coffee and tea. The bed was really comfortable. There was a turn down service each evening. The room has a balcony running along the whole length. The bathroom offers a bathtub and a separate shower and is spacious and modern. Breakfast is plentiful, offering cereals, bread, meats, cheeses, yoghurts, fruit, cooked breakfast, fresh juices etc. The restaurant is clean and modern and all staff offer a high level of service. The location is ideal. It's situated in a side road off the main avenue, so it's quieter, but still within walking distance to all of the local sights. There's public transport nearby too, if walking isn't your thing. The spa treatments were very relaxing. Again, the staff were amazing. There's an indoor pool in the spa area plus a jacuzzi on the roof terrace.
