We LOVED our stay!! This was the most beautiful guesthouse we stayed at in our week in Portugal. The owners are so kind and the breakfast was perfect. The bed was super comfortable and the decor is absolutely lovely. Views are unmatched and the town is also very sweet. Plus, they’re great breakfast chefs! :)

The location was perfect, on the edge of town just off the road to the wonderful Côa museum with stunning views from the large terrace. Lovely walks on the doorstep including to Santa Barbara viewpoint & the pretty town of Foz Côa. There was no one else staying but the outside space would be large enough to share , and we also had access to a large inside sitting area with use of utility room and washing machine. The apartment itself had a huge comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a small kitchinette perfectly adequate for cooking a simple meal. Mafalda was so helpful and we woke up to a large bag of fresh bread, butter, jams & fresh fruit in the morning. Thank you so much 🥰

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful vineyard hotel by the river. The setting is peaceful, surrounded by grapevines, and everything is so well cared for. The design is stylish yet cosy, making it easy to feel at home right away. Everyone on the team was friendly and welcoming, but two people truly deserve a special mention. Yarelis greeted us each morning with her contagious smile, kindness, and genuine care – the perfect start to the day! Daniël was always helpful and making sure everything went smoothly during dinner. Their thoughtfulness made our stay even more memorable. The food was excellent – fresh, creative, and clearly made with love. It’s the kind of place where you feel both relaxed and well looked after. If you get the chance to visit, don’t think twice!

This is not a hotel, it is a private villa and we were the only guests which added to the exclusive experience. Situated between the bus station and the tourist office it could not have a better location. The breakfast was fantastic and we also got an opportunity to practice our portugues with the lovely lady on duty. There is no key or code for the locked main door but they teach you how to get in anyway. Like we said, a private stay.

The Exceptional Highlight of all the Higlights are the hosts. They take not only extremely care of the guests but are living humanity with passion and love. The exceptional spirit of this guest house is the spirit of the family and their values. From the first moment on of our arrival, we felt the kindness and warm communication of the hosts. The room is cosy and with all comfort. The garden area with the swimming pool is an oasis full of charme and peace. The breakfast is served with a lot of fruits and fresh products. They respect also personal wishes and do their best to satisfy the needs of their guests. Our stay at Gremio was amazing; we arrives as guests and we left as friends in a spirit of family. I was bikepacking and booked the afternoon of the stay. The manager arranged an excellent evening meal with a local person when I asked about restaurants (there are none) The room was clean and with working quiet air conditioning
