Amazing location with a great view of the river and the mountains. The manor is right on top of a hill but also a few minutes from the city center of Ramnicu Valcea. Great start for trips all around Valcea district. The rooms are very nice decorated, all of them different ( apartment with balcony and view of the river, 2 rooms apartment or the nice queen apartment we had, facing the beautiful garden). The traditional romanian style mixes with very nice souveniers the hosts gathered from their many trips, with vintage pieces, paintings and books, all of them surprising you in every corner or shelf. The food is another plus for this location. Everything feels like homemade, cooked by the host acording and adapted to your taste. Still, the best part of our stay was meeting the amasing people that put so much passion and work into this manor, our hosts. Both of them are so nice and would do anything to make you feel like you are at home and you are part of a big family.

We had an amazing one night stay! The room was cosy, well furnished, the thermal pool is a cold night was more than welcome after a long drive (sometimes with heaps of traffic), the staff was very nice to us, and the breakfast was one of the best! It deserves it's place as a top star hotel!
