Frösön Park is the former Officers' Mess at the former Frösön Air Base. It has two fighter planes guarding the hotel as a reminder of its past. The hotel is newly renovated with spa, pool, and a good restaurant. All hotel guests have free access to the restaurant. It is close by the airport, but located lower than the runway so there is no noise from aircraft disturbing you. The rooms are spacious and quiet.

The hotel has a Very good selection for breakfeast and has a sauna and steam room. Also it has access to a very good gym . I wish every hotel I stayed in was up to this standard for facilities

Location is very central, 1 min walk from airport bus stop. Very good sound proof (if not on Friday or Saturday night when the night club on the ground floor is open). Very good ventilation, no need to open windows when it is below zero outside. There was no kettle in the room, but on the ground floor there is a coffee machine with free coffee, tee and biscuits available 24 hr. The breakfast is excellent, including omelette, bacon, meatballs and sausages. Almost no pastries though, too unhealthy probably ))
