The location is amazing! The room is next to the seashore. Very chilly and relaxing. The breakfast is very good. It’s difficult to find tasty food in Istanbul, so the breakfast was a huge surprise. The room is very comfy, all necessities are there, plus free minibar.

This is my second time staying at Karadag. Absolutely love the place, the pool and the location. It’s hidden away from the busy touristic part but 10 -15 minutes walk to the centre. You can get the electric taxi and pay with your Istanbul card it costs about 100 TL . Clean and feels very homey❤️

Location and design of this hotel is stunning. If you want a standalone seaside hotel with minimum people - it's just that. Design is really good (especially luxe rooms with bath near panoramic window), repairs of rooms just finished. Own beach and pier with clean sea:) Check-in was fast and simple, Turkish breakfast is tasty and prepared just for you. Pool also with wonderful view - but bathed in sea and enjoyed it. Owner, manger and staff was very welcoming and nice - please keep up with this hotel, I definitely want to return later someday only to see it even better! As an idea - please provide sea transfer from/ to pier with reasonable price - I would pay just to have such a seatrip with nice views:)

Nice hotel, clean, rare that they have their own pool and elevator! The location is perfect if you also intend to visit the public "beaches" or the swim club on the eastern side of the village. Close to both the central parts with all the shops and restaurants and the eastern swim club.

Staying in Splendid is similar to visiting the Museum of Turkish History of the early 20th century. Beautiful authentic interior, garden, swimming pool, old elevator. Beautiful hotel cafe and restaurant, delicious breakfast, breathtaking sea view.
