We had a lovely stay at African Bungalows in Nungwi! The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and it was great to see the owner around, always making sure everything was just right. The breakfast was excellent—fresh, delicious, and with something new to enjoy every day. The serene atmosphere made it feel like an oasis in the middle of Nungwi, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful. We met the owner, mister Tunkai, who is a very hospitable guy. He gave great advice and really made us feel welcome. The pool area was lovely, the kids spent hours swimming while we could relax in the shade. Breakfast was good and a nice way to start the morning. We also tried the massages offered at the hotel and they were excellent. Overall, a great place to stay in Nungwi.

We liked everything! Throughout our whole stay we experienced an extraordinary kindness from every single person of the staff. The place is beautiful, the rooms are clean, the bed mattress was convinient. We enjoyed the floating breakfast really much. The chef prepared every night perfect meals, everyone could find something for their taste. One night they held a dinner at the beach with a concert, we absolutely enjoyed it! The electricity went off sometimes, but within a few seconds they already solved the problem, so it meant no dififculty for us. The coast is guarded, so we had our stay absolutely unbothered. When my husband got sick, they helped immediately to get him to the doctor and helped with everything possible, so we are extremely grateful for them and especially the manager!

Babalao is located near the main Nungwi beaches. Owners, Elena and Max and their team members are always there to help with any issue inside or outside the Babalao place. Breakfasts are great, always fresh prepared. Family room for 4 is just enough big that everyone can get his own place if needed. And at the end, garden with the swimming pool, nice dining area is just the cherry on the cake. Beautiuful and reccomended.

Lovely territory: spacious and a lot of plants, 3 swimming pools, several bars. Friendly stuff! Good, clean, comfortable beach area: it was safe to leave things, even valuable ones, on the beach loungers thanks to the security. The rooms is clean, mosquito nets on the beds, tea/coffee and a kettle in the room. Good location: easy to reach a lot of cafes and local shops.I highly recommend this hotel despite some minor downsides.

The staff was friendly and helpful right from our arrival. Our room was clean and tidy, with modern and tasteful furnishings. We especially liked the swimming pool and the view from our room, which was beautiful and provided true relaxation. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, with fresh local products. The staff also helped us to participate on Mnemba and Spicy farm tour. Overall, we were very satisfied with the services and environment. We will definitely return here when we are in the area again.

The personal and owner were very nice, they took very good care of us while we three, my wife, my 7 years old child and myself, stayed at the hotel. The breakfast was great. The hotel has a swimming pool. The beach is 5 min away from the hotel.
